Made one food run for a traditional ballpark hotdog. JV gave up a couple home runs, and the Tigers won, 2-0. Before we found our seats, we did a bit of exploring.checked out the Ernie Harwell statue got our photos taken with Paws, the Tigers mascot (free and taken by a Tigers staffer) took my bro's photo with the Miggy Cabrera bobblehead statue checked out some of the "by decade" historical displays along the central arcade. ![]() To keep costs down, we opted for some upper deck seats on the first base side. And a chance to see Cabrera in his last season. Justin Verlander on the mound for the Mets. So we ended up at Thursday afternoon game on a beautiful sunny day in the D! Tigers vs Mets. ![]() Ever the Detroit Tigers fan, he wanted to attend a game while he was in town. My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from out West.
